For schools, clubs, posts & community groups
The hard part isn't the ask. It's the room.
People come, they eat, they check their phones, they drift out early β and the appeal lands on a half-empty room. WTP Football Bingo gives everyone a reason to stay in it, including the people who didn't come for the football.
What you'd have to do
Almost nothing.
Bring the room
A screen with the game on and people in front of it. That's your side of it.
We run the game
We operate the session for you, or train one of your volunteers β it's a browser and a row of labelled buttons. No scoring credential, no equipment.
Guests use their own phones
Nothing to install. They scan a code or type six characters and they're playing in about two minutes.
The legal part, in one paragraph
WTP Football Bingo is free to play. There is no entry fee to play, no purchase of any kind, no cash or merchandise prizes, and nothing that can be redeemed for anything. Rewards are virtual points and standing on a leaderboard. Because nothing of value is wagered and nothing of value is won, it isn't a raffle, a lottery, or gaming β so it doesn't require a gaming or raffle licence, and your board doesn't need a legal opinion to say yes. Players must be 13 or older.
Keep the game free to everyone in the room. If you sell tickets to your event, that's your event β but anyone present should be able to play whether or not they bought one. We'll help you word the invitation.
Where the money comes from
Straight answer: the game isn't the fundraiser. It's the reason people show up and stay β which is the hard part of every fundraising event. The revenue comes from what you already do.
-
Tickets to the watch party
An event people actually want to attend is easier to sell a ticket to.
-
Food and drink
People who stay through the fourth quarter buy another round.
-
A sponsor funds the pot
A local business can fund the session's rewards and be named on the session page β with a public, itemised record of every reward their money awarded.
-
The appeal, to a room that's engaged
Made at halftime, to people who are present rather than restless.
What you get afterward
A session summary you can put straight into a board packet or a sponsor thank-you: how many people played, how many cards, how long they stayed engaged, and every reward awarded in order. It contains no email addresses or personal information, so it's safe to share β and you choose whether it's published publicly on this site or kept to yourself.

We're running a limited number of sessions this season at no cost, in exchange for your honest feedback and permission to cite the results. The season is seventeen weeks and the good dates go early.
Or email host@watchtalkplay.com with your organisation, roughly how many people, and the date you have in mind.
